Designed originally to fill the increasing markets of high powered SUV’s and luxury sports cars. The Grande Sport kits are usually over 370mm in diameter and feature the striking B38R or B40R multi piston calipers. Application development of Grande Sport kits concentrates on some of the new generation of ‘super sedans’ such as the RS6, RS4, M5 and C63 AMG. Visually beautiful and with stopping performance to match they are the perfect choice for all performance cars fitted with at least 19" wheels. Each kit uses a set of pistons carefully matched to the individual vehicle, so although large, these calipers always retain excellent O.E pedal feel. Rotors are a two-piece configuration to keep the overall weight to a minimum. The rotors are machined from the finest quality European steel billet before being heat treated, faced, and hand finished to create a perfectly flat braking surface. The hat of the disc is machined from the same high quality alloy as the calipers and is hard anodized for protection from the elements.
As with all TAROX kits the Grande Sport range integrates with all modern day driving assistants such as traction control, ABS, dynamic driving aids, and EV regenerative systems. Each kit features;
- Hand assembled calipers machined from the highest quality billet alloy.
- Heat treated CNC machined billet steel rotors in a choice of facings.
- Hard anodized alloy hats.
- Uprated brake pads.
- CNC machined alloy mounting brackets with bolts.
- Braided & coated brake lines.
The 'Bespoke' way...
For the bespoke touch all brake kits are tailor made, for the car and for you. For each application the calipers are fine tuned to maximise performance to that specific chassis. Furthermore we offer a choice of caliper colors, rotor styles and pad compounds to ensure your kit performs perfectly in any scenario.
Caliper colors
All TAROX calipers are anodized, never painted or powder coated. The surface of the alloy is lightly abraded before the pigment is chemically bonded to the alloy to create a beautiful satin finish. Currently we offer color anodizing in red, blue, green or gold. Our black caliper option is an especially tough type of protection called 'Hard Anodizing' which is recommended for those who wish to use their cars on the track or for those drivers with a less meticulous car wash regime.
About wheel fitment...
Due to the vast range of wheel designs and sizes available in the aftermarket we are unable to comment on whether or not a kit will fit without spacers. We can provide a wheel fitting template for most of our kits which will allow you to check for suitable clearance before ordering. To request a template please complete your details below. IN STOCK ITEMS
Orders are shipped via USPS or FedEx when shipped from existing US based inventory locations. We aim for same day or next day dispatch, and given this, depending on your exact time of order, and location, we ask that customers allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
If there should be a problem with your order/shipping and it seems likely your order will take longer than 5 days, then we will inform you by email or phone. Deliveries may require a signature so if possible please give a delivery address where the order can be signed for during working hours.
NON-STOCK & MTO ITEMS
Due to our vast catalog it will often be necessary to ship your special order items from TAROX Italy (via TNT, delivered by FedEx) or from TAROX UK. Items shipped from Italian or UK inventory typically take 5 to 10 working days to be delivered. On occasion, there may be zero inventory of an item at any of our international locations. If this should be the case then we will inform you by email/phone as soon as we find out.
Brake kits and Bespoke rotors are always manufactured to order (MTO). We kindly ask that you allow 3 to 4 weeks for delivery.
CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTY
All orders shipping from International stock locations are intended to be delivered duty paid, i.e. you should not have to pay any import costs of any kind to either FedEx or CBP. Unfortunately, due to the number of agencies involved, on occasion you may be sent an invoice for customs charges. Please do NOT pay this and request a refund for these charges, we will not be able to refund you, merely issue a future credit note to that value. We must insist that you forward the incorrect paperwork to us, and we will take care of of the invoice ourselves.
